Tanker Explosion at Long Beach August 30th, 2008, posted by FofR

It feels like a game of Burnout - 100 points for a Tanker… crashbreaker! This is a SECOND explosion, a chain reaction of sorts.

This is a down the road shot of an oncoming Tanker (seen here) that encounters the wreckage of the previous car explosion (High Res video of that blast showing car flip), and inevitably collides directly with it, exploding all over the place with a giant plumage of black smoke - setting car alarms off in the surrounding vicinity. More cussing again…

“That was awesome.”

Thanks for the heads up Robert. TLAMB also have some close up shots of the Tanker after its big scene:

Here are some more videos from the night. The first shows a practice run before the big explosion. The second comes from Gettodeath and is more of the Autobot parade. The last one is a low quality phone video of the bots being overtaken by a honking Chevy Volt.

High Resolution Video of the Long Beach Explosion August 28th, 2008, posted by FofR

This HD video comes in thanks to Edward, warning there is strong language, if some of you are sensitive to that sort of thing. This is the best close up video of the explosion yet:

Footage of blue/purple Chevy Volt from Long Beach August 28th, 2008, posted by FofR

Robert from Modern Myth has sent us this video showing the Autobot parade from higher up and a new purple car that is being prepared for filming before driving away, as the camera zooms in you can clearly see the Chevy’s “Volt” name on the rear.

This vehicle was previously confirmed in July. Though this one does look a lot more slick than the concept image.

(Video included after the break… it auto starts)

More Long Beach images, explosion footage August 28th, 2008, posted by FofR

We knew that better footage of the explosion would be coming, and here it is, coming from fmd805 are three videos, the first shows the explosion from side on, the second shows the filming of the aftermath and the third is more of the autobot fleet:

The next video is by the ever reliable Gettodeath, via TLAMB, it warms up with some shots of Optimus Prime and down the road shots showing cars pulling away. It then cuts to a side angle which precedes an almighty blast:

These next images come via Slash Film’s Ricky C and TLAMB’s Gettodeath again - showing the fleet of autobots and some closeups of the explosion aftermath.

Videos from Long Beach August 27th, 2008, posted by FofR

EDIT: A much better video of the Autobots “rolling out” has been provided thanks to R. over at TLAMB, this video shows Bumblebee, Optimus, the silver Corvette, Ironhide, the Chevy Beat and Chevy Trax all driving in formation:

Here is our first video of the explosions down on the Queensway in Long Beach, sadly it was captured on a phone camera and you need to tilt your head or rotate your screen to enjoy this one… . However, it does get the money shot - showing the explosion right at the beginning.

Quick video of Saturn in Philadelphia August 26th, 2008, posted by FofR

PhillyFilmGirl is back with a new video from the Philadelphia filming earlier this year., showing the Saturn speeding past with somebody handing out the right hand passenger window:

Ice Cream Truck Video from San Pedro August 20th, 2008, posted by FofR

Gettodeath, the fellow that posted the pictures from San Pedro, has sent a video of the mysterious Ice Cream truck in action to TLAMB, which I have included below:

Shia flips car with Isabel Lucas, arrested for a DUI July 29th, 2008, posted by FofR

Shia LaBoeuf is an idiot. Anyone that drives drunk deserves to be called an idiot and made a public mockery of. Below is the best television report I can find on YouTube that covers the incident - well, the least sensationalist and the most informative. It concludes that Shia expects to return to work within the month. Shia managed to flip his green Ford when he made a left-turn too fast, crushing his left hand in the process and requiring extensive surgery. CelebrityFix reports that the female passenger involved in the accident was none other than Isabel Lucas, uninjured she has returned to the set for filming.

New video from Smithsonian Museum June 29th, 2008, posted by FofR

A new video from the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum at Dulles, VA has popped up, showing Shia, Bay and Megan Fox at work:

Princeton Set Videos June 25th, 2008, posted by FofR

This playlist of videos from Russell shows the Saturn Astra, that we have now seen a number of times, travelling very fast up and down the same road with a Go Kart closely following to film the action - nipping between cars to get some great shots. You can also clearly see the whole in the windshield which was seen in the Frenzy attack video.

These videos show some more of Shia stretching and what looks like a scene of Shia LaBoeuf walking across campus. It may coincide with a set report from Mark:

The TF2 crew was shooting at Holder Hall this morning until about 1:30. The scene they were shooting today ended with Shia, Megan, and Ramon running out of the building into the courtyard, which they shot several times. Once, they ran out into the courtyard, hooked each others’ arms at the elbow, and did a little dance (clearly trying to alleviate some of the boredom of doing the exact same thing over and over). Isabel Lucas was visible at one point, but I couldn’t tell if she was involved in the shot.

Once the principals were done, the crew shot a group of about 20-30 student extras running into and out of the dorm’s western entryway (the same one that Shia, Megan, and Ramon had run out of). It was pretty funny to watch the extras run, because they were being funneled in and out of the doorway in a big circle, so the kids that had just run out of the building would circle around and run back in until the shot was over. In both cases the crew used a smoke machine in the dorm’s southwest hallway, which was visible from one of the windows.

Videos thanks to the WPRB Blog!
